As the full time editor at Wildebeest, you'll accomplish the bulk of the technical tasks related to post-production. In addition, you'll manage and organise all post-production processes, and work closely with the two directors in order to achieve a desired end result. Rapidly growing, we have created a new role that will see us bringing in an experienced skilled editor onboard to help bring our work to life. As the full time editor at Wildebeest, you'll accomplish the bulk of the technical tasks related to post-production. In addition, you'll manage and organise all post-production processes, and work closely with the two directors in order to achieve a desired end result. Key Responsibilities - Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenesâ value and contribution to continuity - Inputting uncut rushes and sound, synchronisation and storage- Attend and contribute to ideation sessions for client projects- Making sure that the vision of the director and client is being met - Help to sustain and guide creative process - Perform routine post production equipment maintenance - Experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements - Suggesting or selecting music. You- Proven experience as a video editor - Highly proficient with solid experience with digital technology and editing soft- ware packages (Premiere, After Effects and basic colour grading) - Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio - Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity - Familiarity with special effects, D and compositing - Creative mind and storytelling skills - Tech savvy, with considerable knowledge of audio/visual equipment, hardware, software, troubleshooting and techniques used in video production editing. - Knowledge of camera equipment the overall production process is respected but not essential. - An alignment with, Wildebeest's Vision, Purpose and Core Values - A hunger to help grow both your skills as an editor, but also Wildebeest as a company.
